DNA is a code, it encodes proteins over sequences of three bases composed of four elements which are complementary two by two : {A, T, G, C}.
It provides the RNA transcriptase with enough data to choose a next nucleotide that will be chained with the previous one if there is a previous one.
However scientifics also discovered that DNA does not come in a straight line : it's actually a graph, and the molecular environment in the cell decides if the strands are well separated or on the contrary completely mixed. Understand, this is all magnetism inside of modlecules in water.
So if we randomize a graph with a triple store, life will emerge. If you've seen the movie Pi (1998) by Darren Aronofsky you see a crazy mathematician having ants coming out of his CPU chip, it was a good warning :) I'm seeing spiders instead, very tiny spiders that get the binary codes XD Ants are better on screen as spiders can be deadly and most ants are not.
